Upon Pastor Free's retirement we were pleased to bestow on him the title "Pastor Emeritus" of Harrold Zion Church. Pastor Robert Free was born in Greensburg, and spent the earlier part of his life in Jeannette.  Formal education includes:  Jeannette Senior High School (Graduate), California University of PA (BS in Education), Brookline Psychiatric Center (Clinical Pastoral Education), Hagarstown, MD, Donegal Lutheran Parish (Internship), Donegal, PA, and The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg (Master of Divinity), Gettysburg, PA.  His ordained ministry began in Kittanning, PA, where he served from 1975 to 1984. He has served as pastor of HZLC for over 25 years, assuming the position of Associate Pastor, in October, 2008. Along with his wife Bonny (Rehm), they reside in Middletown.  They are parents of a son (R.Benjamin) and a daughter (Crystal).
