Pastor
Peter was born in
Willmar,
Minnesota, attended
North Dakota
State
University, and entered Luther
Northwestern Seminary in 1989.
Upon ordination he served three rural congregations in eastern ND and then,
upon moving to Klingerstown,
PA (near

congregations. Following his
marriage to Lisa Hildenbrand in May of 1997, they moved to
Germany where
Lisa served as a US Army physician, and Pastor Peter did volunteer
chaplaincy work at several
US military
installations. While in
Germany, they
were blessed with the birth of two lovely children, Erik and Sarah.
Upon completion of duty, Lisa began working with an OB/GYN practice
in Butler,
PA.
While in Butler, Pastor
Peter was a stay-at-home father and served part-time working with children
and youth at Trinity
Lutheran
Church.
The Nordby/Hildenbrand
family now resides in
Hempfield
Township.
Pastor Peter is serving as Associate Pastor
at Harrold Zion, while providing pastoral leadership to St. Luke's
Lutheran
Church in Youngwood.
With all children of God, he looks forward to growing in faith and
service to our Lord.
